Climate Controlled Facility: The Benfield Sportscenter is heated and air conditioned throughout the entire facility.
Experienced Staff: All leagues are organized and monitored by professionally trained staff.
Modern Courts: 2 - 88' x 56' Sport Court Surfaces
Bleacher Seating: We can comfortably accommodate over 200 spectators in our sporting areas.
USFF Certified Referees: Included in registration fees.
Session/Games: 8 Game Schedule. 40 Minute Games.
Start Date: The weekend of November 17, 2017.
Registration will close approximately 10 days prior to start date.
Schedules will be posted approximately one week prior to start date.
Team Fee: $795
Register your team early and Save $100 if registered and paid by October 1, 2017
Don’t have a team? Register an individual to be placed on one of our House teams. These teams are managed by the parents of the players. When registering, please let us know if you would like to volunteer.
Individual Fee: $99 (Includes Benfield Sportscenter T-Shirt)
Register an individual early and Save $20 if registered and paid by October 1, 2017
Refunds: $100 of registration team fee is non-refundable ($25 for individual fee registrations)
50% is non-refundable within 30 days of session start date.
100% is non-refundable within 14 days of session start date.
T-Shirts: Benfield Sportscenter T-Shirts will not be provided except for individuals signing up for a House Team. If your team would like to purchase T-Shirts, please let us know in the comments and notes section at the bottom of the registration page. T-Shirt requests can also be sent to leagues@benfieldsc.com.
Rosters: All Teams must fill out a full team roster and complete our online waiver. For insurance purposes, completion of the waiver is mandatory. After completing registration for your team, you will receive an email with a link to complete the roster. If you do not receive an email, please contact us at leagues@benfieldsc.com. Completing the roster is an easy process and will insure a fun and safe experience for everyone.
Scheduling Requests: We are often able to fulfill one or two minor scheduling requests, but there are no guarantees. Schedule requests should be submitted in the comments and notes section, at the time of registration. The sooner requests are submitted, the better chance that we can fulfill them. Requests must be sent prior to registration closing. Requests can be sent to leagues@benfieldsc.com.
Game Days and Start Times: Please note that the days and times noted below are likely, but subject to adjustment based on the number of teams at each age, and facility availability. Partial or entire age groups may need to be moved. In addition, teams may play one or two games on an alternate day/time, including weekdays. Every effort is made to limit adjustments to the days and start times listed below.
Boys league games will be on Saturdays and Girls on Sundays. 2010 and 2007 age groups will start at 7:00am. The rest of the day will run youngest to oldest (excluding 2012 & 2011). Older boys age groups (~U15-U19) will also play on Mondays and Fridays. The league games will start at 7:00am on both days but we will try out best to make sure one team isn't playing every 7:00am game in their schedule.
Forfeited Games: If a team fails to show for a scheduled game, the referee will allow a 5 minute grace period. After the 5 minutes, if the team has not yet arrived or does not have enough players to field a team (4), the game will be forfeited. The game will be tallied as a 3 to 0 loss for the forfeiting team and a 3 to 0 win for their opponent. There will be no refunds for a forfeited game.
Games Cancelled By Opponents: If an opponent cancels a game or does not show up for the game, the other team may use the game time to scrimmage or train. There are no refunds for games cancelled by opponents. If a team must cancel, please call Benfield Sportscenter (410-987-5100) as soon as possible, so we can notify the referees and give the other team a chance to plan accordingly. Games cancelled by teams will not be rescheduled until a $100 rescheduling fee is paid to Benfield Sportscenter by the cancelling team. If it is not rescheduled, the game will be forfeited.
Games Cancelled By Benfield Sportscenter: We reserve the right to postpone or cancel games at any time, for any reason, such as inclement weather or facility problems. We will make every effort to reschedule games, but there are no guarantees. There are no refunds for games cancelled by Benfield Sportcenter.
Help Us Maintain A Positive and Competitive League: When creating the schedule, we strive to create the most competitive brackets as possible. In order to do this we need your feedback: Please use the comments and notes section at the bottom of the registration page to give us as much information as possible. The following items would be extremely helpful:

Nobody likes a blowout. Most coaches and parents would agree, the lessons of sportsmanship are as important as those of winning and losing, and that lopsided scores are a serious affront to fair play. While we strive to place teams in brackets where they will be both challenged AND competitive, we cannot guarantee the occasional mismatch. If one team is overwhelming another, we would ask that the coach use the game as a training exercise by working on possession or requiring one touch passing, etc., rather than running up the score. That way, both teams can benefit from a more positive experience.
