Strength and Conditioning Workouts
Workouts will be run by Ben and Lucas Pardew
Ben played soccer, football, and lacrosse at Calvert Hall. Ben won the MIAA Soccer Championship his senior year and was on the only team to go undefeated in the MIAA. Ben received the Gatorade Player of the Year for Maryland, along with All-Metro and All County Player of the Year. Scoring 15 goals, 8 of the goals being game winning goals and 2 goals in the MIAA Championship game his senior year. Ben then went on to accept a soccer scholarship for Towson University. He spent 4 years coaching the Maryvale Prep varsity team and another 4 years coaching the Dulaney High School boys JV team. Ben just finished coaching the Chesapeake field hockey team this past fall.
Lucas played soccer and ran track at Calvert Hall. Lucas made three MIAA Soccer Championship appearances, winning 2 championships, one of which was during an undefeated season. He also held the MIAA record for the 4x200 team relay. Lucas went on to play Division 1 soccer at George Mason University. He was the CAA Rookie of the Week his freshman year. He made two CAA Championship finals, winning one CAA Championship and making two D1 NCAA College Cup appearances.
Designed for High School and College Athletes
Athletes will work on different aspects of fitness and thinking to develop better physical and mental abilities. Workouts will vary from speed to strength training. Sport specific drills will also be included in the workouts. Athletes will learn to push through the challenges both mentally and physically and learn what it takes to be a true champion…
