Registration by Birth Year
WE WILL BE USING BIRTH YEAR FOR ALL LEAGUES
EXAMPLE: If your child is born in 2010, they should be registered in either the 2010 Boys or 2010 Girls League.

Basic League Information:
USFF Certified Referees: Referee fee included in registration fees.
Session/Games: 8 Game Schedule. 40 Minute Games.
Start Date: The weekend of February 7th , 2025.
House Teams: The House Teams are composed of players who register as individuals and are placed together onto a team by Benfield Sportscenter. In the event that there are not enough players registered in an age group to field a team, we will attempt to make a combined age group team. If there are still not enough players to field a team, you will unfortunately not be placed on a team and will be refunded your registration. (This is typically only an issue in the older age groups.) House Teams will only play games on the weekend, we do not offer weeknight practice times. Additional house team info can be found on your birth year registration page.
Uniforms: We only provide uniform shirts (Benfield Sportscenter t-shirts) for individuals signing up for our House Teams. You are otherwise responsible for your team’s uniforms. If your team would like to purchase Benfield Sportscenter t-shirts, please let us know in the comments and notes section at the bottom of the registration page. T-shirt requests can also be sent to [email protected].
Rosters: All Teams must fill out and complete our waiver form which will double as your roster. For insurance purposes, completion of the waiver is mandatory. We will have copies available at the facility however it will be a much faster process if you fill it out ahead of time. Completing the roster is an easy process and will ensure a fun and safe experience for everyone.
Nobody likes a blowout: Most coaches and parents would agree, the lessons of sportsmanship are as important as those of winning and losing, and that lopsided scores are a serious affront to fair play. While we strive to place teams in brackets where they will be both challenged AND competitive, we cannot guarantee the occasional mismatch. If one team is overwhelming another, we would ask that the coach use the game as a training exercise by working on possession or requiring one touch passing, etc., rather than running up the score. That way, both teams can benefit from a more positive experience.

Covid Mitigation:
REME HALO Air Purification Unit (https://www.rgf.com/products/air/reme-halo/)
6 Air purification systems have been installed into the HVAC systems in the facility. One in each of the 4 units for the playing surface, one in the lobby unit and one in the unit for the separated room on the east side of the building (Karate Studio). Each purification unit is rated up to 6,500CFM. This allows for a complete air turnover of the facility every 40 minutes.
We will follow any required local guidelines for mask and capacity limits.
Our plan is to stagger the start times of each court by around 10-15 minutes. A 10-15 minute stagger will allow a complete switch on one court before another game ends and begins its switch. Each game currently has a 10 minute buffer between games (A 40 minute game in the 50 minute time slot) so with a 10-15 minute stagger one game will be ending as the next is starting. This should mean that a complete game change over will occur on a court before a game on any other court has ended. We also plan to start with court 1, then court 3, then court 2. This should separate everyone even more as courts 1 and 3 use separate court entrances.
