League Fees:
Team Registration
Individuals:
Individual registration is intended for those who wish to play futsal but are not part of an existing team that will be registering in our league. We will place you on a "House Team" which is comprised of other players who have registered as individuals. Please see our Individual Registration section below for more detailed information.
Refunds:
- Early Bird Fee Until January 1st: $855
- Mid-Tier Fee Until January 15th: $905
- Full Team Fee after January 15th: $955
- If you must collect money from your players parents, you are responsible for collecting the total sum into one payment for Benfield Sportscenter. We will NOT be taking individual payments directly from your parents.
- Don’t have a team? Register as an individual to be placed on one of our House teams.

Refunds:
- $100 of registration team fee is non-refundable ($25 for individual fee registrations)
- 50% is non-refundable within 30 days of session start date.
- 100% is non-refundable within 14 days of session start date.

Individual Registration:
In the event that there are not enough players registered in an age group to field a team, we will attempt to make a combined age group team. If there are still not enough players to field a team, you will unfortunately not be placed on a team and will be refunded your registration. This is typically only an issue in our High School aged house teams.

What is included with my individual registration?
- We will provide a Benfield Sportscenter t-shirt that will serve as your uniform.
Can I request my child to be on the same team as a friend?
- All team placement requests can be made in the comments section of registration. Please note that our registration goes by birth year.
- If you request to play with someone in a different age group than your child, it is not a guarantee that they will be placed together. Often times the younger child will have to play up in the higher age group to accommodate these requests.
When will I find out what team my child is on and their schedule?
- You will receive an email with your child's team name and schedule about a week prior to our league start date.
What equipment does my child need?
- Flat bottomed, non-marking shoes. ie. Sneakers or indoor soccer shoes. Cleats and turf shoes are NOT allowed.
- Shin guards. You cannot play without them and we do not sell them at our facility.
- Soccer socks to cover your shin guards.
- Comfortable athletic shorts.
- A water bottle. We do not have a water fountain at our facility, however we do have a water jug that can be used to refill bottles.
Who will coach my child's team?
- House teams rely on a parent volunteer(s) to step up as a coach. Being a house team coach means helping to run substitutions on the sidelines and maintaining a positive attitude towards your players and encouraging the same from them. Coaching experience is not required. Please note in the comments of your child's registration if you would be willing to be a house team coach.
Will there be practices?
- We do not provide practices or practice times with our futsal league. You will only be playing games on the weekends.

When will the final schedule be posted?
Game Days and Start Times:
Forfeited Games: If a team fails to show for a scheduled game, the referee will allow a 5 minute grace period. After the 5 minutes, if the team has not yet arrived or does not have enough players to field a team (4), the game will be forfeited. The game will be tallied as a 3 to 0 loss for the forfeiting team and a 3 to 0 win for their opponent. There will be no refunds for a forfeited game.
Games Cancelled By Opponents: If an opponent cancels a game or does not show up for the game, the other team may use the game time to scrimmage or train. There are no refunds for games cancelled by opponents. If a team must cancel, please call Benfield Sportscenter (410-987-5100) as soon as possible so we can notify the referees and give the other team a chance to plan accordingly. Games cancelled by teams will not be rescheduled until a $50 rescheduling fee is paid to Benfield Sportscenter by the cancelling team. If it is not rescheduled, the game will be forfeited.
Games Cancelled By Benfield Sportscenter: We reserve the right to postpone or cancel games at any time, for any reason, such as inclement weather or facility problems. We will make every effort to reschedule games, but there are no guarantees. There are no refunds for games cancelled by Benfield Sportscenter.
- The league schedule will be released about five days after registration closes. Registration will be closing on January 29th. Please be patient as we make our schedule from scratch in order to accommodate the dozens of scheduling requests we receive. A link league schedule will be posted here and on the home page.
Game Days and Start Times:
- Please visit the schedule section on the registration page of your birth year for approximate game times. Note that the game times listed on your specific registration page are not guaranteed and may be subject to adjustment based on the number of teams registered in your age group and facility availability.
- Teams may play one or two games on an alternate day/time, including weekdays. Every effort is made to avoid diverting from our projected schedule.

Scheduling Requests
Scheduling Requests:
- We have over 200 teams participating in our league. While we are often able to fulfill one or two minor scheduling requests, there are no guarantees.
- Scheduling requests should be submitted in the comment/notes section at the time of registration.
- Any requests made after your team has already been registered must be sent to Luke Pardew: [email protected]. Requests must be sent prior to registration closing. Please do not call the facility with a scheduling request, you will be redirected to email Luke.
- If you must reschedule a game after the league schedule has already been released, a $50 rescheduling fee will be required from the cancelling team.
